Next to Valderrama this lovely hotel is well worth a visit. Although this hotel has a 4 star classification it earns its place in our luxury section by virtue of its location, ambience and quality. Alhaurin has an 18 hole course, a 9 hole par 3 and a children´s pitch and putt course. The riding facilities are superb and excursions into the beautiful Andalucian countryside can be easily organised. The hotel restaurant is an old Spanish Cortijo with lots of atmosphere and great food. This is a good hotel if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle although you are still a only a 30 minute drive to the coast.
